This is a flash back to Randy and Meg’s fabulous wedding last summer! Now I am a Full Service Wedding Photographer in Columbus Ohio, but I love to travel further! Traveling is a very important thing to me actually, which is how Megan and I met. We were assigned to work together in in Germany for a year and we connected right away. She is the absolute life of the party, full of spontaneous, out of the box, and fun ideas. Life is never boring when she is around, which made her a blast to work with!
When Megan met Randy it was clear that he was the one. The way the communicated and grew together in spite of the distance was beautiful to watch. Since I was also in a long distance relationship as well, it was super fun to have her going through the same things. When Randy came to visit her for spring break I got to be there when he proposed! As well as doing their engagement shoot later that week.
Its been an honor to be a part of their story for so long. Their wedding day was perfect because it was so obvious that they had put their heart and soul into it’s details. You could see their personalities in the favors, catering, table decorations, and even their bridal party’s attire. I’m thrilled to share this wedding with all of you. I hope you can feel the love and overwhelming JOY that these two share with everyone around them.
I loved that Meg opted out of the traditional veil and went with the baby’s breath! It was so lovely and delicate, and simply beautiful. It reminds me to encourage future brides to not follow tradition for the sake of tradition. It is ok to try different things! Most of the time they will be major wins — or at the very least, it will make a great memory.
And there it is! I love you two so much and thank you for your friendship. Your wedding day was possibly the best party I’ve ever been honored to photograph. You were all about others! Focused on how your relationship could encourage and bless every person invited to your special day. Its so rare to find people so aware of those around them that they want to make their wedding day about others. You are a blessing and inspiration to everyone you come contact with.
